Pune: The Movement for Peace & Justice organised a two day workshop of District and Taluka level Presidents on 16th and 17th May, 2015. In this workshop various advocacy issues were discussed. The legal framework of right to education Act 2009 was taken up to train the cadres. Syed Gyasuddin of Jalna presented the mechanism of grievance redressal under the right to education act. The experts raised their concern over the present grievance redressal mechanism and voiced to strengthen the system and make it easy, so that an illiterate person can also get benefited.
Apart from this, the health issues were also discussed. The participants were tried to engage in various activity based training on different socio-economic issues.
